Seadive is an excellent place to learn to dive, or further your diving education. If you have never been diving before, our experienced and knowledgeable staff will help you make the transition from land lubber to floating weightlessly underwater.
First timers can try a Discover Scuba Diving Course. This course takes about a day. You start off in the morning with a short video and trying on the gear. We then take a boat to our training site. There in shallow water we practice some skills to prepare you for entering the underwater world. Before you know it, you are swimming around seeing all of the beautiful corals and colorful fishes.
If you enjoy the dive (and I know you will), you can head straight into the PADI Open Water Diver Course The PADI open water course takes 3 to 4 days. By the end of the course, you will have great memories that will last a lifetime. I have to warn you, diving is addictive. Once you start, you will want to go new places and see new things. But hey, this is what diving is all about.
You can hone your dive skills by taking the PADI Advanced Open Water Course It is 5 dives, each dive having a different emphasis. Deep dive and Navigation are required, and the last three are your choice. Possibilities include Peak Performance Buoyancy, Wreck, Fish Identification, Underwater Naturalist, and many more.
PADI Rescue Diver helps learn how to help others in an emergency situation. While these occurrences are rare, it is best to be prepared. The training you receive will help grow as a diver. You start to think not only of yourself underwater, but also the other divers around you.
Go Pro! PADI Dive Master is the entry level professional ranking. This course is very thorough. Dive training is balanced with theoretical knowledge to make you worthy of title Dive Master. Skills are practiced and evaluated. You assist your instructor in different learning environments. When you finish this course, you are qualified to lead certified divers and assist instructors teaching courses.
PADI Specialties are offered to broaden your knowledge and experience in different diving activities. Currently, we offer: Deep Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Wreck Diver, Underwater Navigator, Underwater Naturalist, Digital Underwater Photography, Peak Performance Buoyancy, and Night Diver specialties.
Are you up to the Master Scuba Diver Challenge? This is the “Top Dog” of nonprofessional dive certifications. Requirements for this honor is being a Rescue Diver with current CPR/first aid and 5 different specialties.
